The Alchemist’s Forge hand crafted jewellery is made to the highest of standards using quality and responsibility sourced materials. We pride ourselves on our customer care and after sales services.
When a piece has been purchased online, we endeavour to complete the order and have it sent out in 21 days. However, depending on stone and material suppliers, workload and events this may be different. We will contact you if your order will be any longer than stated.
Once an order has been placed with The Alchemist’s Forge, order confirmation will be sent by email. On receipt of the order confirmation, there will be a copy of our Terms & Conditions attached which will then be printed off, sign and sent back to The Alchemist’s Forge at the address given. Once The Alchemist’s Forge has received the signed Terms and Conditions, a deposit of 50% will be paid. The remaining balance will be paid on completion of the order. Payment must be received in full before the order will be released from The Alchemist’s Forge studio.
Changes can be made to an order after it has been accepted by The Alchemist’s Forge but will incur extra charges depending on the content of the changes required.
An order completion time will be given once Terms & Conditions have been received and the deposit has been paid. If you have a special date that is getting close, please discuss with us. It may be possible to quicken your order however, may incur additional charges.
A payment will be taken by either a bank transfer or by a Paypal invoice. If you request a Paypal invoice, there is an option to make a two part payment depending on the item purchased.
We will be happy to offer you an exchange or refund of a piece that has been purchased directly from www.thealchemistsforge.co.uk, Etsy or Facebook provided that the customer has contacted us by email or in writing within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the piece. It must be returned in its original condition, packaging and with its sales receipt. The piece must be delivered back to The Alchemist’s Forge within 21 days from the date on receipt.
We can not offer an exchange or refund on any pieces that have been made specifically to order with personalised engraving (Name, date of birth, message)
Due to hygiene reasons, we can not accept the return of earrings unless they are faulty.
Our returns policy does not affect your statutory right.
If The Alchemist’s Forge has accepted an order from you (acceptance will be confirmed by email correspondence on receipt of the order) and you wish to terminate or withdraw from the contract, you may do so by telephone & email correspondence within 24 hours of the acceptance of the order confirmation.
If the order has been received by you and you have decided that it is unwanted, you must return the order to The Alchemist’s Forge at your own risk and cost’s. Original shipping costs will not be reimbursed. This will not be the case if the order is damaged in transit or faulty. You will notify The Alchemist’s Forge within 5 working days of the receipt of the order if they are faulty/ Provided that the order is returned to The Alchemist’s Forge in the same condition as it left our studio, we shall reimburse all monies, less any material costs or charges paid for the order.
Loss or Damages by client
If a piece purchased from The Alchemist’s Forge has been damaged after receipt of the order it may be repaired depending on damage subject to fee. If the piece has been lost or stolen after receipt of the order, it is the clients own responsibility. The Alchemist’s Forge will not replace an item free of charge
All commissioned pieces will be charged at an hourly rate with a separate design rate. All prices on www.thealchemistsforge.co.uk are inclusive of VAT.
All UK orders will be sent free of charge by Royal Mail tracked and signed for first class or guaranteed next day delivery. International orders will be subject to a small shipping fee and will be sent out by courier or Royal Mail international tracked and signed for post. Tracking numbers will be given once the piece has been dispatched.
The Alchemist’s Forge can not be held responsible for any items which have been impounded due to customs and excise department rules. Please note that pieces sent outside the UK may be subject to import taxes/duties, therefore, we would advise that you check the allowances of your country before you place an order with us or buy from www.thealchemistsforge.co.uk. If you need to change a delivery address, you must contact us immediately. If the piece has already been sent out, there may be an extra charge due to amendment of address details and possible recovery of the piece.
Product images and descriptions
All images shown on www.thealchemistsforge.co.uk, Facebook, Instagram and Etsy are produced by The Alchemist’s Forge and are handmade, therefore, there may be slight discrepancies in wire formation, stone colour/tone or placement of fine detail and can not guarantee an exact match to the original piece you have seen in the original image. However, we will do our upmost to ensure that they are as close as humanly possible. Descriptions will give as much detail as possible for each piece, however, if you require more information, please contact The Alchemist’s Forge. The descriptions given are as guidance only. No responsibility can be taken for errors or omissions.
All information given to The Alchemist’s Forge will be with held in our database and will not be given or sold to a third party. Confidentiality is of the upmost importance to us.
The Alchemist’s Forge reserves the right to terminate access of our internet services if behaviour is found to be abusive, aggressive or otherwise unpleasant and rude. All rights are reserved by The Alchemist’s Forge.
